I have to say I got a mail today claiming to be from my bank. I never do anything with them though this one was good, it looked really good.

I took a closer look - they have registered this domain -

http://nationwide.co.uk.membership_matters.lumner.info

then tap on the pages to get you to the accounts bit,

sneaky fuckers!

I get those daily from every bank around the world and to all my email address.. You just started to receive them..

They're an update on the PayPal scam getting you to give them your details and I still get the great Nigerian scams offering me $20 million :)

I love the UK scams about getting the government to deposit money into your account cause it isnt on the financial statement or something LOL

I get ones from barclays, paypal and ebay all the time telling me I need t update my address and billing info cause my account will be limited otehrwise
makes me giggle

Makes you think just how many people must fall for them though - some look very convincing. They've got past the dodgy spelling mistakes and bad English of a couple of years ago...

its the fact they went to all that trouble to make the url look good, loads of them used to use numeric ip's as apposed to text.

If the banks have a screen you could input into they shoudl be able to knock off line pretty quickly.
