View Full Version : I shall bake a cake

My uncle found out that his cancer has returned. They are going to put him on kemo.

As such he is getting a rushed wedding a week on sat.

So I have desided to bake a proper wedding cake. A real one not some soppy sponge cake.

It cannot be too hard to do as women do it all the time.

Its going to kick ass.

The big problem is that I am used to the old fashioned measerments and all new cookbooks have the modern style. But all my weighing gear is old fashioned. Oh well, with luck I will have an old recipy book.

Anyway as its going to rain the next few days this will be my task for this week.

Well not good news as he has been told that he could be dead in a year. But that said, he is not too down as he plans to live life to the full.

I shall take a pick of the cake if it works.

By the way, do i have big ears. My cousin recons I have (bitch). Just becase I sugested that I she was a transexual. Well she dioes have size 9 feet. Not exactly female.

If you need any help with the measurements etc, I can ask my mum - she used to bake cakes for weddings birthdays etc. or theres google conversion tools.

Thats cool.

I will first see what books I have.

I hope I do not do what I did when I maade some bread. I get confused with teaspoons and tablespoons. As such I put two tablespoons of salt in the mixture. I think it must have been the saltyst bread ever.

No. He had some sort of thing that zaped his head. I think kemo is when they inject him.

He is not too down. He has a best mate who has had kemo for the last 4 years.

Its one of those things.

At the end of the day, the way i see it, he has me as a nephew, so his life has been great.

My daughter has size 9 feet and she is only 16 !!

My sis has size 10 feet and she is only 16.

She has a larger amount of male hormones in her body than she should have. She has a very manlyt stature and is rather hairy too...hmm

My uncle is sadly in the last stages of terminal cancer after living with it for 3 years since it was diagnosed as terminal.

I'll be brushing the dust off that black suit the next few days I reckon. :(

Hope your uncle fares better DVTimes :)

Sorry to hear about that DTV, I hope he fairs well with the chemo.

As for the cake, with wedding cakes to get a real good taste you need to leave the fruit part for at least a month or so to get a really high taste but a week should be better than nothing. Remember lots of marzipan lol, nd oh pm me and Ill give you my address, you can send some up heh..

Wedding/iced fruit cake, is the ONLY cake I like.

But cake baking is the final proof that you're gay, as has been suspected for some time. Next you'll be growing a moustache and watching football.

Sorry to hear about the cancer. I hope he pulls through it and I wish him the best of luck with the kemo...and good luck to you with the wedding cake. Be sure to take pics of it so we can see how it came out. :)
