Germans stole it a while ago.. a dutch band called Hermes House Band made a cover, changing three lions on a shirt to heroes in their shirts, etc.

Unfortunately it's no longer an "english" football song. Other fans singing it has nothing to do with England and everything to do with cover versions.

Turn of phrase.. I don't give a toss really.. When it was on the german top of the pops I did wonder how long it would take the english fans to notice though lol
