The very first gym session ever since I left school...God help me!!
Leaving in about 5 mins, going to walk the one and a half miles to the gym to get me in the mood...*cry|* why must I torture myself - oh yes, cheese, pizza and kebab...:banghead: :troll:

How did u get on? I had a good workout today. Dreading tomorrow though. Tuesdays and thursdays I use the stairmaster eeek.

Just in the door.

Walked the 1.73 miles to the gym, almost fell in the door to the gym with exhaustion...

Filled in the form that says if I kick it using their equiptment they arent liable lol...And the other bits and pieces...

Got told my resting heartbeat is 106bpm and need to get that checked, my workoutbpm average is 183 LOL now that's bad...Im so unfit..

Work my ass of on the machines for an hour and come home, I feel numb lol...Good numb though, my nose and head is so much clearer and I really do believe that's actually done me good.

I go back tomorrow evening and start body combat classes next week (they have a creche so I neednt worry about the wee one!!!) I walk to the gym and get the bus back which is good, that's my warm up...

Im also thinking of starting the football sessions they have there too as I havent played in so long, would be great to get balls under my feet again ;) *rosie insert sly comment here*

So all in all, dead, numb but thoroughly enjoyed it and the trainer is cool!

Eek yeah get that checked out. It's prolly nothing but best to be on the safe side. My resting is 60bpm and when im working out really really hard I try to get it up to 160bpm. I had it go up to 175bpm once and felt like I was about to throw up lol.

It'll get easier in time too :)

aww :) its mainly the love handles i cant stand, i just wanna be toned :) I'd be happy at a size 12 or 14 if I was toned :)

Yeah resting at that rate is pretty high, actually it's fucking high for a young girl. I wonder if the walk had something to with it, maybe the heart rate hadn't gone down enough before they took it.

Obviously at 180bpm you are going to be fucked, so the higher your "resting" rate is the quicker you will get to the fucked limit.

But it's more about the recovery rate, how long it takes for you to get back to your "rested" rate.

A 12, I havent been that in about 6 months...I was a size 14 when I fell pregnant, 12 6 months into the pregnancy and a 10 when she dropped out..

Im now a 16 and bloody hating it...I look at aww my old clothes and cry lol..I tried putting on an old pair of my jeans, couldnt get it over my ass..

My love hands are uber big too, paul liks em but they just get in the way...

I'm a 16 too. When i was my heaviest I used to squeeze myself into size 18's but I'm pretty sure I was actually a 22.

I remember being a 22 when I was in school, this was when I was going out with Joe, I was with him for 2 years and went through all sorts, beatings, controlling, depression...Yes at 14....

I told him one day to bugger off, left the house for a couple of weeks and about a month later I was a 16, a month after that I was a 14 and a month after that a 12... Then I met paul a couple of months after that, had a baby, lost my social life lol...

Im now in and out of 14's and 16's...I have some very stretchy 14's that are big made that fit...I just want to see a 12 on the tag...I kno that will never happen with tops cause my boobs but I want to see about getting them reduced..They are giving me bad back problems and Im getting a hump on my neck where I slouch..argh!

I bet it was hard at the gym :( My boobs are supposedly a C cup but im sure they are a B, so i wear a sports bra and i'm practically flat.

It doesn't sound like much fun having a bad back from them either. :(

Easiest thing to do is to check it yourself with the aid of your watch in bed. Good time to measure it is just after you've woken up, and definitely before your first tea/coffee/fag of the day. Count pulses over 20 seconds and multiply by 3 - that'll be close enough. Don't take it the morning after you've gone to bed having had one glass of wine too many - that'll raise your morning pulse - in my case, by 20-25% if I wake with a noticeable hangover.

You need to get that resting heart rate bpm figure checked because if that is correct (and quite often they are wrong when measured at a gym) you need to see your doctor as that needs to be looked at and it could be quite dangerous. I would be suprised that your doctor hadnt already picked that up at some point already.

My heart beat has always been higher than average..Usually at docs appointments I sit around 97-103 but because I have done that since I was small they have assumed Im just irregular...It's like when I get given a local anesthetic, it never, ever has worked and I found out in a rather horrible way... They also found out that I'm strange when i was small as they put that numb cream on my hand before putting in a drip and it actually number the OTHER hand...

When I have my skin flar ups they don't know what that is either, I have been to see specialists at bupa and they still don;t know...I get small water blisters all over my hands and they are very painful and swell my hands up but they put it down to eczema as they couldnt find a cause...My migraines are just there so deal with it Im told lol...

Continuing on my keep fit regime, I got the wee one up at 11 this morning, yes she slept in...got her ready and we walked down to the park (about 1.3 miles away) and had a wee picnic...we fed the ducks and played on the swings, she fell over and whimpered lol...We went to the big park and had fun there rather than the small one around the corner..daddy is still inhis bed...

Im heading back to the gym tonight, going to get the bus there this time I think, my legs wont hold out otherwise and tonight is toning and weights so that should be interesting...I take the wee one to her first swim class on tomorrow, she likes the pool so that should be fun and start body combat on tuesday evenings... :) They are all paid for so I don't have the option of not going lol

Yep sure do :) I feel more energetic, although i'm still not where I'd like to be :) I only managed 20 minutes at the gym today, an engineer is coming to fix my mac :( Bloody thing.

Im going for the full hour tonight, weights and toning session. Going to do one hour of that per week and one hour physio with the combat stuff thrown in for fun...Ive also decided to put the baby in for pool lessons and water confidence even though she really loves going to the pool lol...She kicks like a little froggy

Session 2 completed tonight, go for my final induction session on Sunday to get my card which means I can go at the hours I choose as many days a week as I want heh!!! Today was much easier, I dont feel so nackered..

Taking the chunk to the beach tomorrow, first time she will have been on sand so that will be cool to see!
