Best Practices in Adult Video (BPAV) is a voluntary seal for the adult entertainment industry.
BPAV was founded on the belief that the adult entertainment industry must proactively self-regulate to avoid unreasonable government interference and to secure its future as a stable, safe, profitable, and professional industry.
BPAV's mission is to:
Encourage responsible, ethical and professional practices in adult video production
Denounce any type of performer mistreatment resulting from a non-consensual act
Promote responsibility on the part of performers for protecting themselves and one another from sexually transmitted diseases
Help protect the image of the industry
