Ok so I checked the post on the blog today and found a problem. I made a post to auto post at ten pm tonight but when I looked the links were completely invisible and the text around them missed out.
So I changed the text and added new links again, starting fresh and it saved nicely...I noticed a type so went in to edit it and then it happened again, the links disappeared and the text around them.
I can save it all first time round but if I wanted to edit this post I would have to re write the whole thing!
Anyone ever have this happen to them? It is only after editing this one post..Could it be the auto post that has done this? I made the post and forgot to change the time stamp so it appeared on the site so the first time I edited it was about 2pm this afternoon where I changed the timestamp for it to appear it 10, could this have been my problem?
Any help is great appreciated..

Sometimes the visual rich text editor can give strange problems. Do you use that? How about plug-ins, have you enabled any lately?
The only other thing that I can think of is if you think it is saving to the database but there is a slight lag and it is not.

Just had a look at the last post you made. The links are incorrectly formatted. You have line breaks in cluded in the URL.
Take a look and see if you have the following option ticked or not "WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically" in Options > Writing

what do you mean?
If I alter that thing the options will it alter the links already posted on the site?
I have to add a link like this when I am writing the first comment
<a href".....etc>
If I click edit once it is saved I can use the link tab button on the options bar...I can just type htt://www....etc as that doesnt work...

Hover over your links in the last post and look at bottom left of your screen, the URL has a < br /> in it that shouldb't be there. It is the same in another couple of links further down the page.
Have you installed many additional plug-ins to your WP installation?

I gave up with the rich text editor after 4 minutes. Don't know if it was because Firefox wasn't up to it, or I was just maddened by the rubbish going in, but I prefer doing it using the simpler text editor.

I prefer the standard option too. There are a few of people have complained about the fucked up code it renders.

Whats rich text editor?
I see what you mean...I did a sample post and it turns out if I have the pic at the top of the post then I dont get line breaks in the link...If I have it any where else except the top then that happens...
Funnily enough, when I checked the previous posts...There are only two where there are pics, that arent at the top and both of them had line breaks in the link, the rest of the posts with pics that were at the top of the post were fine.
The only plugin that I have installed recently is the smart ping thingy...Don't know what it does, I was just told that I should use that and put some more adresses in the ping thing which were all given to me of course, I couldnt do that myself.

Is the 'Use the visual rich editor when writing' under Users > Your Profile > Personal Options (bottom of the page) ticked. If so try it without.
I was only enquiring about the plug-ins in case you had maybe enabled one in between posts that may be interfering and causing the problem.

Jade I see that this is still a problem. The last load of Blackberry links are crapping out because of the line breaks in the URL. I suspect the CutePlumper links will be too.
I don't know what else to suggest at the moment.

I kinda figured it out...Those posts with the lines breaks dont have the pictures at the start of the post and then the text under...
That seems to be the problem...The other links in posts that have the pictures at the very top of the post and then the text under it seems to work fine...Dont ask me why, its rather confusing...lol

Take a look at the following plug-in, it might be something to do with word wrapping but I doubt it.
Force Word Wrapping (http://www.frostjedi.com/terra/scripts/wp/wrap.zip)

Just to clarify. I don't think you will be getting credit for the links that are broken. :(

Yeah kinda figured that lol...
I just started a post and went to paste the URL and I noticed something strange...
After I pasted, the cursor then went to a new line. I never noticed this before...I then pressed backspace and it went to the end of the URL here I could still add text. I think what is happening is that when I copy and paste my URL's there is a huge "gap" at the end of them and wordpress is starting on a new line, so I just have to backspace..
I saved my URL's in a notepad you see, so im not just copy and pasting the text, Im getting lots of space at the end of it.
So, I went into the blackberry post and pressed backspace after each paste and the links are working now! I just need to go fix the plumper ones!

went through the links on the cute plumper post and its exactly that! Got it all sorted...
There was me wondering why in the hell elisha didnt have nearly as much clicks as she usually gets! She tends to get the most...and she had a pathetic amount but I still had the same amount of traffic...it all comes down to broken links lol
