having bought the paper, which is a rare thing for us... on the inside there is an article about Anna Span (again)

can i ask how they measure "the UK's leading female director"

is it by the money she makes? or how prolific she is? or how long she has been in the business? or because she was at media college???

there must be other females who have been in the business longer, make as many if not more films, and more often...and make as much money

I know one who can say yes to at least one of the above

My thoughts exactly - this rather grand statement is emblazoned all over her DVD sleeves as well but all it is is VERY clever marketing designed to help sell movies to women and couples.

Having watched a few of her DVDs in my opinion they are no better than anything else thats out there and certainly the content is no different to anything else so how it appeals more to women is beyond me!

I didnt know it was on her DVD's and that just makes it funnier as its her thats telling the press she is the leading UK female director

her content is no different because she uses the same pool of "talent" as most others and really has no creativity to do something different.. but thats just my opinion
