I am amazed how many people feel smug that they do not use the net.

You can get a pc free or for £10 or so if you look around. Often schools/universities or businesses will give there old ones away. And lets face it when the new version of windows is out next year, I bet there will be lots of cheap decent pc's around.

So cost is not the issue.

Its just barmy. Its like saying the phone will be no use when thaty was invented.

But just for the fact that you save so much money.

I got today two compost bins for £6 each. Most shops do them for £40, but I found a firm local to me selling them direct via the net.

Except for food and some clothing items, I buy just about everything these days via the net, or at least I check out who is cheapist.

The money I have saved is mad.

Yup I've gotta agree with you on that one mate. Most net only businesses don't have a showroom or floor staff, just some warehouse and packing staff so It's no wonder they can pass on the discounts to the consumer.

A recent irony of this was I got some books via Amazon USA. Books were sent to here via Germany and I saved $50 off the store shelf price here. Crazy when you think about it like that.
