Actually working on the blog itself need not take much effort. As SGS said above, Lady Sonia's blog generates a lot of sales, but if you look at it, it only seems to be updated once a day at most.

However, as with all adult sites what does require effort is promotion. You need to get people to your blog in the first place for them to start clicking on nice things :D

Like everything in life you only get out what you put in but as a rule of thumb a blog should be updated daily, text content rich and relevant. :)

If writing something every day is a pain then a blog might not be the way to go. Blogs work because surfers check it out once a day to see what is going on and if its not updated they will go somewhere else.
