View Full Version : Middle Lane Drivers

After driving to and from London I was ready to join the traffic police and start pulling over those plums that refuse to move from the middle lane.
On this trip they came in all types of shapes and sizes though many were, and I don't wish to sound sexist - women so far forward the seat belt must have been at breaking point.
We saw 3 very close shaves because people would not move from the middle lane so cars were hitting what can only be describe as bottle necks.
So come on be honest are you or do you have a view on middle lane drivers?
i have a nice view on them, from a slightly higher position. gotta love a proper Chevy Van with enough power to shock beemers and the likes. and pulling up really close behind them tends to convince them they'd be safer on the 1st lane. :D
When you do alot of driving, it does start winding you up. Because it starts bottle necking the third lane too, so people end up having to overtake on the inside.
Should be a pointable offence in my opinion

Use the third lane to overtake, that's what it's for !
I have no respect for pricks that play macho on the motorway !!
Ooh just got Paycom EU too and no middleman required :)
Glad for you - its the 'pricks' that dont understand the concept of pulling left that cause the issues.
I'm glad you have Paycom EU - Im supprised it took you so long as you have every other processing service thats out there - best of luck with it.

Just overtake them, pretty simple really.
I have never had a problem with this if I am traveling at speed and see that the car in the middle lane is not going as quick I simply move to the outside lane and pass.
Although having said that I rarely venture out of the fast lane.
It's more annoying when some wanker is sitting in the fast lane doing 70mph and will NOT move cos "I am within the speed limit and I will not break the law" (in a Mr Bean voice) then I just undertake, it ain't hard to grasp really.

undertaking is bad news, be so much easier if people just kept left :-)

Yeah but it can be so much fun, especially when some wanker wants a race and there are cars in front. Just shoot up the inside, back over and away you go :p

I hate middle lane drivers.... piss me off, I do alot of driving and I will undertake them just to prove there in the wrong... these fucks can have a empty motorway and still drive in the middle whats the about....
Understaking is not that bad news there is normally a hard sholder to drive onto if they decide to move over without looking in there mirrors
