In fact it was pretty funny that when the intervener started to walk away in shame, Tom made him come back.

Its one thing to be funny with film stars, but this was assault. Plus I bet security increases now.

I am not against making film stars look silly, but there was no excuse for this.

I saw the guy who did it. What a geek. He thought he was realy clever. He stood grinning. Then Tom told him off. It totally backfired.

To as you say unlike many stars, Tom des go and chat to people. In fact the fact that he stood and explained to the chap he was a berk, showed him in good light.

I think this was better publicity for Tom than the silly engament.

I didnt realise this guy was from Chanel 4 I thought he was just a member of the public. If he was from Chanel 4 then they should sack him, unless they knew about it, then they should be ashamed of themselves.
