two brit clubs in both finals :-) we can dream of a double though I fear nothing will be won :-(
I went to the boro vs west ham fa cup semi final last sunday.... guess i picked the wrong match!!!
Cracking game, although i was thinking of doing other things when the second bucharest goal went in..... and I bet McLaren felt like shit.... lost the FA cup semi final, lost the england job and 3-0 down on aggregate... but as Jimmy Greaves used to say football is a funny old game...

At least it should keep that useless twat McClaren away from the England job a bit longer.

that's very head buried in the sand! phil scolari outwitted eriksson twice as manager of brazil then manager of portugal, he has a proven track record ever since he was with Palmeiras, he has character and personality and won't fuck his way across the front pages every few years a la sven with that nancy tally bird in tow. allardyce? mclaren? you jest!

Why is that? Look at the change in our Cricket team since Fletcher.
Its about time this country got used to winning again and forgetting about its just the taking part importance bullshit.

we won a test in india recently, first time in many years
and no-one beats pakistan on their own patch, well, very very rarely
anyway, the ECB's centre of excellence in loughborough has alot to do with the resurgence of english county cricket which in turn serves our national side

There isn't a decent English manager up to the job.. there never really has been
since Bob Paisley. Brian Clough etc
we need the best man for the job...at the moment thats Sven. his record is second to none in the job...who cares what he does in his private life
If every bloke who had sex with someone at work like his secretary there would be nobody left running anything
This is our best chance at winning the world cup and the scumbag media are doing everything in their power to spoil it
Just wait for the revelations in the press leading up to the world cup..I would bet good money they will be saving something for Rooney, Beckham,Owen etc
to expose during the tourament

What did the England football team win last? lol
Last two big acheivements were
1990 - finished fourth losing the semi on pen's
1996 - Semi finals loosing on penalties
Both these teams were managed by english guys, since then its been a mess, Taylor, Hoddle, kegan & Seven are have all done nothing other then help feed the egos of the players.
To manage the national side is not hard, the players are already good enough you dont have to coach them as such, what you do have to do is motivate your players into giving 110% and not feel pressured to playing washed up has beens like beckham.

They are not big acheivements unfortunately. England are just too used to losing.
