i'm not an old-school WM by any means but i used to get pissed often in the george when it was a rockers pub in the '90s, i drunk with the likes of maiden and other NWOBHM'lers

Richard posts here aka Mellenig and so does MJH ... Orca left the biz years ago, Uncle aka Steve along with Sally and Kev are still in the biz as far as I know. They bought a pub out in Essex a couple of years ago. Pete aka Lite is alive and on ICQ. Scapegoat and Dom are also still around the last I heard. Did you meet Uno when AC had one of their London parties, as he also pops in to B & B now and again along with JFK :)

Also... I still speak to Skymouse on a regular basis.. Simon of the Scans has come on just a little from back then and I'm trying hard to remember any others from our nights out.

As for TLA's.. It's been dead since the probs with AC and he blackballed all those who stayed with the programme :)

Maybe we should do a Friends Re-united for the old AC wm's :)

Just wonder sometimes what happened to all those guys. Suppose there's a lot of water under the bridge since the AC days and aye TLA's is not really the same anymore.

Didn't meet uno but knew most of the others. Orca was very influential in getting me started, Ive a lot to thank him for, shame he left, he was making serious bank at one time.

I make more money each year in this game, if I was 'old skool' and making a lot less money then I would have to look for a new job/niche and except the fact I was burnt out ;-)

Of course the highs you are talking about were that good all the old timers are millionaires.....

Its a fact, its easier to acept money online these days, so its easier to make money - stands to reason :)

Oddly I am retiring from it. I have made a lot of cash from it but to be honest the last few years I have been drifting. Sitting at home all day staring at a PC and also photographing endless sex stuff has bored me rigid. I need company - the business has done well but I only intended it to be a short term thing. I guess I got sucked in over time. I came close to seliing my own business at the peak of the dot com boom and wish now that I had.

These days I would make more cash in other ventures which is what I am spending more time on these days. I think for a producer - well for me anyway - the porn business is ultimately corrosive. I know it has been for me.

As it is I just run my sites as a sort of sideshow to my life these days and went back to a mainstream job some time ago.
