Live Feeds

We've been getting requests from Shadowslaves members for ages to start weekly live feeds (a la old insex for those who know). What do I need to look at to do live feeds?

Big undertaking - how many members are asking? Do a simple cost/benefit calculation first.....
I know a few people have tried feeds, but chucked em out because a) they didint increase business b) proved expensive c) they had problems with uptime of the feed.

Also if your thinking of doing your own, take into account the geography of your customer base..... the time difference is a killer!!

Loads of them have asked recently - and I've lost count how many have asked in particular since Insex.com closed down. We're hoping to do one or two live BDSM sessions per month on the site for members, but I've no idea what I'd need to do to set that up (technology wise)

Setting up your own cam feed system can be a bit of a nightmare and quite costly - all depends on how many members you have and how often you can offer content so it will actually have an effect on signups & rebills.

We used to use camz.com but always wanted our own system for exclusivity and flexibility etc. In the end we went for the Sidekick system from www.nearlythere.net - Dan the owner is a very helpful guy who used to live in Manchester.

A couple of my m2g ladies simply use yahoo.... they publish a time and date of their show and allow members to view it.... simple but it works and at no cost...

We'll have to tighten our act a bit if we're being watched live by hundreds of punters. No more taking the piss and I'd have to stop dropping my friggin' camera on its lens halfway through a shoot (done that loads LOL)
