share my pain...back to work today since jan 19th!

As a result of a dislocated foot, broken ankle and plate inserted courtesy of a hit and run driver :wank2: , I, after 10 glorious weeks off eventually went back to work today! Got 6 weeks of physio to go, then compo claim hopefully will be started after that! got so used to being at home working on my site :(

same thing happened to my brother in law on Christmas eve same results but we got the driver.........

thanks all for the kind words! guess what? my department is just 2 of us and someone has been covering for me while I been away, but the other guy I normally work with who hasnt had a day off sick since he started nearly 2 years ago got rushed to hospital today with chest pains! Understand he will not be in next week, and as my job is standing I'm not meant to be doing my normal job just yet! Its like a field hospital there at the mo with someone else off with knee replacement! You couldnt make it up! lol
