I guess this is the worst time of year.
The birsds will be flying back to the UK for summer.
I just wonder what a breakout in bird flu will have on wildlife.

I'm worried, we have a lot of seagulls and pigeons outside our main door entry downstairs and they like leaving little grey parcels on the floor. eugh.

You can ony catch it from the living animal by breathing in infected air they breath out. Basically it spreads like human flu, so dead birds or droppings are safe as houses.

cnn health: An ailing bird can shed the virus in its feathers as well as in droppings, and some people have contracted bird flu simply by touching an infected chicken or fighting rooster.

they were talking bout it on 5 Live they dismissed that,
good news for webmasters, if an out break happens and people have to stay home it will mean more surfing time :)
So I'm fine so long as I stop putting swan filter tips in my rollies then?

all this doom and gloom about bird flu ect, I don't remember hardly seeing a epidemic of biblical proportions that were being predicted when bird flu was found in other countries, or even far east where it originated for that matter!
Will this be the end of Bernard Matthews Butterball turkeys as we know it?
