ccbill tracking is totally wrong

Been speaking to an old member and he asked me if he could join on a long term basis at a lower rate -
np - Set up a link to a join page and sent it to him via email - He joined right away -
I now find that the sale has been attributed to an affiliate -

So - I had a look back at a sample of ex members who rejoin on a regular basis - Those, who first joined via our free site system - and find a very high percentage of those sales being attributed to affiliates -

It is about time ccbill invested in a good tracking system instead of sponsoring expensive parties for Yankie webmasters.

This is due to him having a cookie in his system that credited him to an affiliate. Affiliates lose sales because of cookies being removed due to adware programs so you benefit from that.

There will never be a perfect affiliate system.

Surfres will hit hundreds of different sites so they can pick up cookies from all over. we have sales being credited to affiliates who only refer webmasters as alot of surfers hit webmaster boards looking for free porn.

It is most likely that the customer clicked on an affiliate code at some recent time. I can assure you our system does not credit affiliates randomly.

So clicking an email link direct to a join page should not be over-ridden by cookies he has on his box -
I don't want affiliates to lose cash by any sale - Equally, I don't want to lose -

Cut the bollocks and explain how this can happen - Recently, many ccbill webmasters have said %'s are all over the place - I know mine having been with ccbill from day one, and quite simply, recent figures are not 100%

As I said I see it with webmaster based sites like YNOT getting checking for sign ups due to surfers clicking around them and picking up the cookie.

You should have asked the affiliate to wipe all his cookies then sign up.

I want my affiliates to get paid for every sale they make - I also want my sales to be correct -

I am an idiot and yes it comes naturally, it is probably because I am from Austrailia. For the past 8 years I have put over $1m per month at a minimum through various processors. I have used every tracking system going and know most inside out. I can tell you all tracking systems are not 100% correct. Find me one that is 70% correct and I will give you a million in cash as one does not exist.

If you are happy with this, then so be it - I am not, neither for myself nor my affiliates.
