I get all my payments from the States by cheque. I get clobbered by the bank when I pay in. Does anyone know a speedy, trustworthy and preferably commision-free way of getting payment from the States?
Thanks in advance. :)

I believe they call it epassporte.

PS it's tax free as well ;)

Epassporte or just get your bank to open a USD account, I have one with natwest and I pay USD checks into that no problem at all!

The fastest way is to get money wired. It takes 2 days.

Ask your bank for the SWIFT info. (I think its swift).

I have a Barclays account. They charge me £9 per batch of cheques - no matter how many cheques or the value. £9 out of £1000 is not bad I'd say :D
