Its that timer of year again.
I just love to see the owners, as they often look a bit 'odd'.
Some of these people spend all day long just grooming there dogs. Its a mad life.

I took my dog to the village dog show and he got all wierd when the judge touched his face that the dog snapped at him!
The best thing is we didnt get last prize lol, second from last, but thats still good for what happend.
My wife and I (no, she's not the Queen) did dog obedience shows for about 15 years. Two of our dogs went to Crufts. The travelling was the worst part - hundreds of miles some weekends. Good fun though. And we've always had well-behaved dogs into the bargain.

I love Crufts. I used to go to a lot of dog shows with my mom back in the States. It is interesting to watch over here because you have different groupings and some breeds we would never see (and vice versa). I wanted to go this year but the train prices on the crufts days were stupidly high.
I enjoy watching the fly ball porition of it because those dogs are just loving what they do.
Last night the fox terrier was really nice. So far out of the four groups I bet he is in with a shout but there is still two days to go. Tonight is pug night so I am watching..lol
Most of the time the people in the ring don't own the dog, btw. They are usually just the handler. They spend a lot of time with them but in general don't own them. It is like with a race horse when you have the jockey and the owner. To me I like to see a show dog that is obviously somebody's house pet and are loved like it.

The dog that won was beautiful and I like that it was a 'real' dog and not a poodle who looks nothing like that if you let their hair grow naturally.
