View Full Version : Does the interweb close shop in your place too?
hardly anything is more annoying than an interweb based business telling you something like we will contact you as soon as possible, it could take till next business day if the order was placed after our normal office hours (10am-6pm M-F EST).
hohum.

TBH that example seems reasonable enough - assuming they need a human to review any info you submitted that is ... it's sites like companieshouse.gov.uk that turn off their database for queries at night/weekends that give me the hump ...:joystick:

no, they do not.
also there are competing companies that do react within hours.
if they gave you the info before you knock in your CC details, it would be fine. a flashy banner hollering 'hey, we cannot be arsed to service you at the moment, with it being the weekend and all, feel free to fork over your dosh anyway' - one can then choose to waste up to 3 days or not. this way round i feel cheated on, to put it mildly.
especially seeing they could take the money alright within minutes.

Nah bollocks. Everyone wants everything instantly these days - it's out of order - youre all too spoilt.
BTW - join one of my paysites right now and i'll send you your username & pass a week on thursday ... ;)
you have yet to send me the trial access details for the JP & JT bareback site.
getting better by the day.
24 hours after my purchase (meaning 23 hours and 59 minutes after they billed my CC) and 15 hours after an inquiry when i could expect someone to be bothered enough to react, i mailed customerservices@. only to get an automated reply telling me the mail has been routed to sales@. which is the exact fucking contact that's not working anyway.
maybe i should do my first charge back ever.
