testing again with this post.

something must have been changed, cos it didn't do that before.
of course it could be my security settings. seeing i have B&B in trusted sites, the trigger may be from some other source though.

try temporarily adding search-for-porn.net to yer trusted sites and see if the warning still shows ... it's the domain the banners are displayed from, via script...

added search-for-porn.net

-HF
02-26-06, 08:41 PM
didn't make a difference, which i expected, as banners are served all the time without hassle, why would only quick reply cause a script warning.

-HF
02-26-06, 08:41 PM
when quick replying, something gets added to the bottom, lemme try get a screener.

-HF
02-26-06, 08:48 PM
ho hum. forget the screener, this is taking the piss:

The Dimension limits for this filetype are 620 x 280. We were unable to resize your file so you will need to do so manually and upload it again. Your file is currently 600 x 293.

should just be some text saying "Now submitting message" or words to that effect ..

Anyone else getting quick-reply oddness?

Its your sig?
come again?

SGS
02-26-06, 09:18 PM
come again?

Is the code in your sig causing the problem?

-HF
02-26-06, 09:21 PM
hardly, been there before. also it's only happening when using quick reply, not when going through the proper interface.

it must be something that's called when using the quick reply field.

obviously i'm just going to avoid it from now on, but i'd be interested what would trigger it, if it was my board.

Has the forum script just been updated?

-HF
02-26-06, 09:29 PM

SGS
02-26-06, 09:32 PM

Yes, major upgrade. So far apart from this 'error' that only HF is experiencing, seems to have gone OK ...
