Had a conflict with something here and kept crashing plus the latest version sucks dog cock.

I upgraded to the new version cos of problems with the old, they probably fucked it so we would all upgrade. I didn't like at first but after sticking with it I think is much better :)

Tempting fate here but ICQ has gone from 40-50 spam things a day to none now

Trillian keeps losing my ICQ contacts with the latest version. Most keep showing as orphaned and I have to re-add them but it's still the best as I use AIM, Yahoo and MSN as well..

I've had ICQ since '99 and I've never had any spam on it. Unless you count Johny's dirty messages.

Latest one has an excellent spam filter which even managed to filter out a lot of my existing contacts. :)

sounds like the free version (yellow icon in task bar) ?

pro version (blue icon) is flawless so far. alternatively you could give miranda (http://www.miranda-im.org/) a try.

I have the latest Trillian Pro and it keeps orphaning a lot of my contacts... DUH

Maybe I should look at Miranda as well :)

interesting, i just grabbed the latest version after the ICQ issues last weekand installed it over my exisitng pro 2.0. works like a charm. only thing i lost was my news feeds, which is down to me fucking up and disabling feeds altogether, which deleted the feed details.
