This month has been pants!

Talking of CCBill tracking, the other day I had a triple amount of hits, yet my other stats showed I only had the usual amount of visitors. The week before I had less than the usual hits, remember that time after they did some maintenance and things when funny. So have they been storing them up somewhere? Perhaps they have made some adjustment for the shortfall. Weird!

Im convinced something is write with CCBills tracking, and the amount of failed rebills Im getting is just not right.

Our sales are back up to where they were after a strange time.. but i am noticing affiliate sales are way down and non affiliate sales way up !!!
And some affiliate traffic is converting way below where it was...rebills are way up though

so happy here but something is NOT right with CCbill

Interesting.

Our sales seemed to return to normal yesterday aswell, number wise.

Question is, if something was wrong, is it fixed now.

Worst Feb since I started but...

In Jan everyone got their cc bills from their Xmas spending so sales will be bad. The last few days have picked up but.. It'll take a miracle to get to Jans figures. On the other hand my avs and other sales have gone up... So in the end my total sales will be the same as always....

This past week has been my best ever with CCBill, but I'm with those who suspect that things aren't as they should be.

The thing that bugs me is the lack of consistency. One week I can get an overall conversion ratio of 1:400 on CCBill sites, then the next week it drops to 1:2000, or something, then it's back up again, then down again. I might understand this if I wasn't sending much traffic, but I'm sending enough that the fluctuations in conversions shouldn't be so pronounced.

At the end of the day though, no matter. It just means that ultimately I'll give less promotion to CCBill sites.

Does CCBill Bill still visit this forum?

It would be nice to hear something from CCBill letting us know we are either paranoid or correct.

The lack of any comment from CCBill does suggest something may be wrong and they do not wish to make any public comment.

If everything is working correctly and we are just being paranoid, then I can't see why they wouldn't confirm this.

It would be interesting to compare the worst days for sales against the news headlines on those days.

Let's face it, there has been some - no, a lot - of unnerving financial news during the last few months, topped off by the latest round of domestic fuel price hikes by British Gas yesterday. People are starting to hurt. If someone has just heard that they'll have to find an extra £250 for heating this year, they might think twice before reaching for their credit card to join a porn site.

If CCBill comented on every time webmasters said there is definatly something wrong they wouldnt have time to do anything else

Well maybe they have been reading this thread. I just logged in to check my stats, got an error, tried again and was forcibly logged out. Looks as though some maintenance could be happening.

True but in this case it's a little different, as it seems to be alot of webmasters with similar issues over a similar timeframe.

Now if they have time to comment on things like this

I would think they would have time to comment on this thread.

Give CCBill a break... It is the weekend and maybe the guys are taking time out from reading the forums all over the net :)

Their webmaster support is open if you want to call them up :)

Business is always up and down and you just have to make sure that the ups are bigger than the downs. Its the big picture that counts.

If CCBill do come into this thread (which I doubt as they must get sick of threads like this) I would be happy to have them confirm that we are having our best February ever.

If you have concerns just ring them. They are there 24/7 and their support is the best in the business.

Hello all,

Sorry for the delay in the response to this post. In regards to some of the posts in this thread, please don't look at a delayed response as a lack of comment, as we are always monitoring webmaster boards. With the magnitude of boards that are out there for webmasters, sometimes it might a small period of time for a response, but we always try to make sure that we answer any concerns that our clients/affiliates might have.

On to the issue at hand... I have checked with the system settings and have not come across any issues with tracking or reporting that are known. If there are specific account issues that you might be experiencing, as mentioned by other board members on this thread, our support staff is here 24/7 and we are always happy to help. :)

Thanks again,

My Feb has been the best Feb I've ever had since 01. This year Feb performed better then both Jan and Dec last year. For me my other program sales are up, my paysite sales are rocking and my programs affiliates are doing ok as well. :)
