The car is worse that we first thought, its now leaking petrol (really stinky!!) so we've called the RAC out again to make sure its safe enough to drive it to the VW garage first thing in the morning.

I'm sure it was you who said not to buy a golf lol :D Well at the moment i'm agreeing with you. Even though I thought that because it was newish it would be alright. So far we've had the lamda sensor replaced, 3 new tyres (1 from the other night) and now this. Gah

See if I had saved up for my lambo I wouldn't have this trouble teheh, albeit I wouldn't have a car for a few years lol.

I offered to take the whole service dept down to BMW Mini where we bought our Cooper S to show them what customer service is..

They declined..

Well turns out the fuel filter had corroded, hence the leak but thats been fixed with the brake pads/discs. But now the car is steering wildly to the right even though we had the tracking sorted. anyone got a hammer? lol
