recieve email? Are you being notified of a new post to a thread? If so it will show that exact thread and so the link would be like you say

You will do. Thats the post number they are notifying you about. Each post has its own number and so they are telling you the number of the new post. Nothing to worry about :)

I bet if you just come to the forum and just click a thread like normal you wont see it

yes itys not the number Im confused about - its the fact its repeated
