Its funny when you watch the USA version of UK programs.

Take pop idol. In the UK they get a naff contract, while in the USA they also get a private jet.

And that Apprentice. In the USA they get a dream job, but even before they win they stay in a hot hotel and fly on a jumbo jet. In the UK they get a crap job, stay in a dumpy room, and go about in taxis. Plus that twit (from the UK show) makes out its all his idea, its a copy from the USA. Even the things they do is a copy.

I watched some of that one too, but the lasting memory of that program is when the guy said to Sir Alan Sugar...."I dont think thats fair" and Sugar replied, "Fair son, listen here, the only fair your get here is the fare for your taxi home when your fired"...

Brittish telly always beats the US shite. Look at Red Dwarf....what a classic...oh and for films...The Life of Brian....

When I was a student I was an usher, and loved to watch films.

They used to have press shows on a night, I just loved them.

I think that's why I shoot porn films as I probably could not make it as a real film maker.

For anyone who knows Leeds it was the ABC cimima (now closed). It was also a great place to meet chicks.

The allders outside leeds has been taken over. The other one almost did, but the deal fell through.

It will be interesting to see how long it will be, before its taken over. Its prime land, but expensive.

Whats worse is when they remake our shows like Coupling, our one is great and theirs was about as much fun as hemmeroids. Also, they are making/have made a version of the Office. Thats a no-brainer as far as Im concerend as there can be only one Highla... err David Brent.

you want to see funny adaptations, you should check out the Aussie versions of some shows, like What Not To Wear and Queer Eye - both of these lasted 2 or 3 episodes before being canned for being total crap!!!
