So long as we don't have to suffer endless hours of Curling (Scoltlands version of morris dancing) but the rest is great.

I feel sorry for the Italians having to host that crap...

Skiing, Ice hocky, Snowboarding, etc.... great sports..

Curling is just Scottish outdoor darts. probably invented when the bowling greens were frozen solid from August to June every year...

Still its nice the Scots are world champs at something.. other than Flounder tramping.........yes they actually have a world champ at that ...dont ask

Come and watch our housekeeper working if you like. She is pretty good with a broom.

I like it..it is like chess on ice with brooms. Last time around I even looked into trying to learn it but there wasn't a single place south of Scotland that was equipt to do it.

I like the bob slay thing best. its so nerve racking watching them fly down at high speed.

i hope this year the events are not on as late as i am sure last time they were on daft times such as 2am.

i often wonder if they emply somone to do the cow bell sounds as they do the sking. as you always hear some twit doing cow bell sounds as they zoom down the hill.

but bob slay has a sort of fun with it. last time some millionaire prince in his 40's entered. he went about 4 yards and stoped (i had a giggle at that).

i have to admit, i would love to have a go.

i bet some lucky devel from bluepeter has had a go this year, as they always send out some lucky devil to have a go.

No, it wouldn’t be allowed. I don’t actually think that the Scots really like it that much either and they have confused it with that other pastime up there known as "Hurling" which usually takes place after eighteen cans of Special Brew.
