Been quiet all day here my end ... but wouldnt expect the superbowl to make much difference for me anyhow - majority of my traffic is UK based & would hope UK peeps have more sense than to watch the fucking thing .. :drink:

What else are you going to show at 2am? Plus, there seems to be a generation of guys here that are around 30 now that like a bit of American football. From what I gather it was around the time they would have been kids that the NFL tried to launch the game over here. All my 30ish male friends can tell me all about the Chicago bears of that era.

I'm, 30ish and your right. They actually use to show American football on Chanel 4 on a Sunday night. Plus had a few teams floating around. Was about as popular as bird flu though

Funny thing is, I was sitting there watching it last night, talking complete bollocks on ICQ with all the other drop out drunken webmasters who were still up drinking and I was thinking that we can no longer get Football, cricket and rugby on terestrial TV but can get American football.

I was also thinking, what the fuck are the Yanks doing having a fucking rock band playing half way through the superbowl. Whats wrong with the English tradition of, half time drinking, calling the ref a cunt and fighting?

they just drink and eat all through the whole game and swear at the ref whenever their mouth isn't full. We are really one culture..lol
