Am I the only one that saw England bive the Aussies a good bashing in the 20/20 cricket last night.

At one point AUS were something like 31 for 7......and I was laughing my ass off!

Its been a long tome sinse we beat them at anything, I went to Upton park and watched them beat us a football :mad:


I remember quite a few years back when we beat them at cricket, I still remember the advert that came on. There was a phone call to the Australian cricket team. The answer machine picked up the phone and said. Sorry all the Australian cricket team are out, please leave a message. Then someone lit up a Hamlet cigar

you're not alone john, i'm a massive cricket fan and watched it all and all the replays too :) I think flintoff, collingwood and pietersen will do well in the upcoming natwest tournaments but unless we get the balance right for the tests between our one day specialists and the 5 day players we won't win the ashes :( I think we should play pietersen and collingwood from the get go, giles, hoggard, harmison, vaughan, trescothick, flintoff, strauss, jones & jones :)

I'm just glad those bloody bastad Waugh brothers have retired...

I had a hard time watching cricket over the last 15 years just because of them, every time they came here they broke one bloody record or another!!

When you think about it - Aus has around 12 million people and they are Worl beaters at many sports - (Got knows what they put in the beer out there but I want some)
Also look at the strength of the all blacks and Samola - Neither country has enough inhabitants to make eleven between them yet they produce high quality sportsmen and women -

Stil, nice to stuff them when we get the chance!
