I have only found extortionate contracts for Blackberrys so far. Anyone use them and found a good deal?

Give us a clue what you are talking about, cos I don't think you want those little berry's that grow on the viney type things.

I had a look at them a few months ago but thought they were too expensive for what they did  .. I was just looking for something to check/respond to urgent emails while out and about.

I ending up getting one of these (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/Dispatcher?paymentPlanType=pmt&pmid=7243&nmid=phones_ews_overview&menuid=ctl_phones_details) from t-mobile. Got it half price for 18 months (£13.50) and as well as your minutes allowance you also get 40mb for downloads. I have it checking my email every 15 mins and have never used more than 15mb a month. :)

t-mobile £10 a month.

My pda phone also does blackberry, so cool.

I use it for just one email address, so that I can contact people on the move. Much cheaper and easer than sending out texts.

Not sure about coverage for me from TMobile

I have gone all over the UK with my t-mobile phone.

Always had coverage.

I even get coverage all over Ilkly Moor (which I never expect).

I did not get it to do loads of emails, but its usfull even for one or two a day.

If you get it from car phone whearhouse, you can take it back if you find you have problems (or at least you could) which means you can buy without worry.

Plus if you loose it, you just walk into your nearest store, tell them your details, and they will hand you a replaycment (if they have one) then and there.

But by far t-mobile is the cheapest.

Its usfull to jot down notes and instatly send them to my email, or somtimes if I see somthing usfull on the web, I copy it into an email. Email it to my blackberry, then copy and past it to a text, and text it to people (if they do not have email).

But £10 is not much a month. If it was more, I would not have bothered. But £10 for unlimited emails (not that I will send that many) is a good price).

They are nick-named crackberry for a reason

I would NEVER chose to have one a day. Never.

They are horrible. You just are never not working.

*Shudder*
