Shall we have a tempory football 2006 forum while its on.

Thus all the sad people who like it can post all the way through the event, or at least the 1 week that England is in it before they loose.

I think thats a stunning idea.....and by far the best one you have had to date..

it would save our enjoyment and discussion of the beautiful game being interrupted by badly spelt and sometimes very worrying shite

I'll second that. I think it's a good idea for everyone's sanity :)

I am male (I think), but I think football is dull. In fact I find that a lot of chaps do not like football.

Its just a media thing that sugests all men like football.

OK, football is popular, but its not with everyone.

To me its the same mentality watching football as it is with the fans of the roal family.

To be honest that bugs me the most being told by the moron press that I am suposed to love football, and stick a stupid flag on my car, and repeat the word en-gaaar-land over and over like a total retard.

Persanaly the best thing about the football is that I know if I go shopping it will be quiet. And if england looses I can enjoy all the fools crying on the streets as if it means anything.

I still am amazed at all those families (who are normaly not on big wages) spend huge amounts on footbal tickets, and all the other stuff (shirts and crap like that) to suport a bunch of players (over paid) who could not give a dam about the suporters.

Don't like football. I prefer games like snooker, tennis, cricket, etc

Wonder if it's something to do with big balls and small balls?! :lmao2:

I think its somthing to do with watching good looking lads on a field. I guess if I was gay or bi, I may like football too.

I concur. I am a man working in 'media' that hates not only football, but all sport. Something my wife-to-be (I hate the other word for this) is VERY pleased about.

So please make it a sep forum.

Well said.

I get mad when the media makes out unless your into football, your not a man.

I do not mind playing sport. In fact I enjoy playing football. But I have no interest in watching it.

The only game that I have enjoyed watching was chess, but nothing else seems of interest to me.

I keep thinking, should I film myself walking my dog. Mabe I could set up walking dog teams and sell shirts to stupid dimwits.

Anyway, at least when all these 'men' are at the pub suporting a buch of overpaid players, I can pop and see there wives.

Well thats my rant over. With luck, england will be kicked out early and I will not be subjected to the mindless drivel. I am just dreading going to the supermarket soon, and seeing the 2006 football logo on every item.

And I suspect we will have the grinning clown tony blaire telling us all to suport england. This puts me off football even more. So I will put up a german flag and suport germany just to anoy everybody.

Come on Germany....

I am the same, I can't stand football, cricket, atheltics or any other sport really, and all the wankers in the pub talking about the flat back four and all that bollocks used to get right on my wick.

But when it comes to Euro and World cup I get me flags out and get right into it :cheers2:

For those who have never been to an England game, you dont know what your missing. As Geezer says the world cup is magical, you cant help get drawn in by it.

Im thinking of going to watch Brazil v's Australia. That is going to be a great game to be at and tickets will be easy to come by.
