The "expenses scandal" has been going on for years and years - I'm sure it happened with the tories too. Why now, however, has it been 'leaked', and why is it trying to smear the present Govt? Surely we know all govt's are corrupt. Uhm..."So you pay me money, and I'll help a new rule pass to help your company"...that's been going on since feudal days surely?

Why?

Something to do with Mandelson I expect.

They were caught on film touting themselves around to lobbying companies.

Mandelson claiming it all sounds grubby is a bit off. Like he's the totally clean one in the bunch.

Will this mean they can't stand in their seats next month? :cheer:

They had already decided to quit Parliament.

They have much better paying jobs to go to, the crooked bastards. It was all revealed in Dispatches last night on C4 - I guess it's now available on 4OD.

Of course the thief-in-chief, Tony Blair, has got off the hook and is now £20m in credit, and counting.

I'd bet that some of the ex-New Labourites are Tory voters - with those earnings, they want to see taxes kept low on higher earners.

mabe

i do agree with them though that low tax, makes more tax as it encurages people to earn and spend, so producing more tax.

i still opt fopr the green party though last week the leader on qustion time said she thought porn was wrong.

but i shall still think about voting for them. i will probably not vote as its a lot of hassel to walk down to the local primary school to vote, plus i am not sure that i am still not baned from going there.
