Right
Me and paul have finally decided to try and go ahead with this porn site idea.
We arent using OUR content so we want to buy stuff in..
The only thing is I know there is lots to it and seeing as we have never done this beforewe need some help.
We are going to go with sets of pictures then litle ol me would write a terribly dirty story that went along ith them...its different but we'll see if it works.
Only thing is how do we go about getting content, how do you set up paysite thingies etc..Im at a total loss..
Paul is the coder (advanced PHP) so were fine there and we have a brilliant designer just need to get the ball rolling..

do story site, you can produce that content. There is just as bigger market for the written word as there is for videos and pictures.
If you have a good reading voice you could turn the site into an audio book and target those with MP3 players.
Exclusive sells and the most exclusive thing you have is your written work so I would sell that.

Sounds good so what you are saying is just write stories and sell them on the net? Its a differnt aproach but probably much less expoensive lol
Hello Jade,
With the contentselection we might be able to offer some help..;)
For the inside of your memberarea I would go for a script like Awiz ( http://awizsoft.com/ )to make your life (and updates) alot easier.
Furthermore, I'm sure that some of the guys here would be happy to show you their memberarea and how they set it up. Then you would get an idea what is absolutely nessecary and see how your personal taste would be like in setting a membersite up.
If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up.

I would start from the begining if I were you.
Learn to do some galleries then try some freesites and some portals, get an idea what sells and how to sell it. You sound like you are trying to run before you can walk.
If you are certain you want to dive in at the deep end then check out Club-Xstream above, Martin is a good bloke and will always doa a deal with you
Oh of course blogs as well. Blogs would be perfect for you as they need a lot of text. In fact I would say blogs is where you should be starting ;)

Blogs or weblogs started off just as that logs/diary's. People would have a blog on say, train spotting and would just write down their experiences and what they have done and seen, even add a few pics.
The great thing with blog is the SE's (Search Engines) love them, because there is a lot of text and they are updated regularly the spiders will pick them up pretty quickly and if you use enough keywords, which you would, you should soon be getting SE traffic.
You could do a blog about you and your love for a certain niche, so for instance I have a dogging blog and I write about what me and my friends get up to with regards to dogging, again as a woman, maybe I have a secret desire to be one :lmao2: . Obviously you make up a juicy story add a few pics and then some links to sponsors. Now do this with half a dozen blogs on the same subject, but different and link them all together. Then do another half a dozen on something else and so on.
You could even write about something and then have a link to "see what we got up to" link that to a gallery that has links to your sponsor/s and away you go.

:agree: learn how to make money as an affiliate and the different methods of traffic generation.
For some it can be more profitable to promote as an affiliate using exclusive sites and exclusive content than setting up a site with non-exclusive content, unless you have lots of your own traffic or know how to produce it. Just my :twocents:

build one of these first
360.yahoo.com/
dead easy to do, complete with blogg, you can add RSS feeds and more importantly hook up with people who have an active interest in the same topics as you.
I have one for a fetish site and it works a treat :-)
Seconded what's above. Start with story blogs and portals. Build your traffic up and push it to affiliate programs for now. Silvercash has a story site for instance (you could also push to sites related to the niche the story is about).
As your doing this you start collecting your stories up. With pics, without pics, and as Paul suggests, audio as well. When you've got some decent traffic flowing you can then start your own paysite, stick all the content you've been accumulating in it, and swap out the affiliate sites you've been pushing, to push to your own site instead (you can cross-sell the affiliate sites from within your members area and on your exit console to maximise your revenue).
With something like Awiz mentioned above you could upload a lot of filler stories (you can get hundreds from zip content quite cheaply). And then schedule a new exclusive story to be released every day for the next year (if you have 365 stories ready) and never have to work on the site all year. Or even schedule in 2 years worth of stories, with each story scheduled to be "pulled" after 365 days, and resubmitted 365 days later. Unless you have a member stay for 2 years they'd never know the story had actually been added before. You then have a site that is permenantly updated daily with no extra work on your part than setting it all up in the first place.
Of course the updating schedule would be up to you. A new story, pic story and audio story a week. Or updated 6 times a week with 2 of each, or updated daily with 1 of each.. etc etc.. The more you put in though the more selling/rebilling opportunities you have. (And if you've managed to accumulate 730 text stories, 730 pic stories, and 730 audio stories in the time you've been building your traffic then there will be no reason you can't advertise as "updated daily with a new text, pic and audio story".

I think the advice already given here is excellent -
Start a blog and learn how to get the very best out of it from an se/linking/rss/selling subs to sponsors, point of view -
Then when you get the hang of that, knock up a few more - Some, totally non adult - (This traffic will be very important and one day I will explain how to utilize it - But now, use it for adsense etc - Do not link to any of the non adult bloggs to your sites or any sites which contains adult stuff)
You will also need to know how to build mini sites and tgps for traffic building - How to utilize p2p, yahoo/google groups, newsgroups and forums for marketing.
Once you have a reasonable grasp of running, transferring and understanding your traffic, then you will find it easier to to plan and prepare a web site - By this time, you should have enough know-how to think in terms of either building a pay site, or creating a bigger free site system to sell memberships to more sponsor programmes.
Nothing to it, really -

Neither do I - But I do know it works and is well worth my time paying out cash for having mine managed for me - (I still can't work out html, so don't ever listen to me when I answer coz I am a genuine know-nort, piss-quick sort of bird)

Nice to see a lot of people agree with what I said in the email the other day about the blog.
Personally I would try to keep it separate from your adultwords for hire thing and create a separate persona for yourself. Someone that gets up to all sorts of tricks, either by yourself or with partners or whatever you think you could write about.
Find a few affiliate programs that fit in with what you write about and promote them in the blog.
On Wordpress yourself, you can actually download it and put it on your own domain name if you want, probably a better way in terms of branding etc. :)

Yeah, but it doesn't necessarily have to be real. Make stuff up, fantasy. You don't even have to be Jade from Scotland, you could be anyone you want. Take a look about at other adult blogs and get a feel for what others are doing.

You can go out and shag everybody - When you write, imagine all were Paul - Makes life a little easier -
Yeah the "business" idea of a blog is one aimed at selling porn. Make the stuff up. Although blogs started out as personal diaries doesn't mean that's how they stayed. The posts can be anything.. a mini story/fantasy. A "I came across this wicked site" review. Anything that gives you an excuse to lead your readers to the sponsor sites you're pushing (selling).
Take Elisha's site as an example.. you "pretend" you just found this site. The pics on it gave you a fantasy (use your story telling skills here to embellish a fantasy starring you and Elisha) and of course finish of with a link (your ref link of course) to Elisha's site for the reader to go check her out for themselves and create their own fantasy.
To give the blog a bit of colour/eye candy you can even post a little pic or two from the free content Elisha provides for webmasters promoting her. Rinse and repeat for other sponsor sites.

To keep it "tight" stick to a couple of sponsors and best a niche.
Again with Elisha as the example. It could be a chubby girls blog. Every time Elisha updates her tour with a new pic set you make a new post about it (and a new fantasy).
Find/sign-up for a couple of more sponsors with chubby girls sites and push away.
Or course the best niche to go with is the one you like. If you have a particular fetish or kink you'll find it easier to write about and the readers will notice you love it too. If you're in to 5 inch spike heals trampling on submissive men you should go with that as your first attempt and look for trampling sponsors. If you in to being gangbanged by a bunch of strange men in a park then look for those sponsors.. etc etc. Get to know your niches and sub niches - if you don't have a particular kink of your own you'll just have to try some niches until you find something that works for you. If you decide to do a blog on chubby girls for instance, join a few fat admirer forums and read up on what the guys who love chubby girls say, make note of their language, learn what it is about fat that turns them on. Same with any other fetish. If you don't do some research the readers will notice if you really don't know what you're talking about.
Totaly great advice from everyone and I too echo what they all say. I'd strongly sugest starting at the bottom of the ladder and working your way up.
9 times out of 10 people that dive head first into the paysite game with no knowledge of how to sale or things that they should know from being an affiliate, fail. Unless you just want a nice tax dodge. :)

Your muscles perfectly formed and defined, they ripple each time you move in a rhythm that makes women go weak at the knees.
