Pondering a content offer

I received an email via my paysite contact page from a UK couple who want to sell their amateur homemade porn vids. They are happy to fill out model release forms and provide id's, so that part is covered. They say they can make them to order in terms of content, and are looking to make some cash from them.

I'm pondering whether to take them up on their offer. I could use the content in my paysite members area, use it for branding my paysite via tube submits, maybe AVS sites and clip stores too. Possibly even resell it.

I know from the model release forms I have from content I've bought in the past that the models were paid around £200 quid with the guys £100 per shoot for the same kind of thing and that was a few years ago. I wouldnt be willing to pay anywhere near that though.

How much would you offer them (per 20 min scene)? Any more ideas on what I could do with the content other than the above. Any pitfalls to look out for?

I have made sure the camcorder does not catch vanbabes content on my PC screen to avoid problems with divvy's legal team.

I can shoot loads and can wank with or without condoms.

Haven't seen any content yet, had a couple of exchanges with them and have asked for a sample clip. I also need to know that the guy can use ftp to upload it, since physical delivery via DVD isnt practicable.

I get a fair few emails along these lines too, most of the time it's people wanting to be filmed or models looking for work and I ignore those. I dont get many where people are offering stuff they have already made or will make to order though, which is why this one raised my interest a little more than the others.

Good point on them selling it multiple times, that's one thing I didnt consider before mainly because the guy seems fairly naive, but it could be he's exactly the opposite. I guess even if you write it into the contract to be exclusive it's not going to be worth the effort persuing if they default.

I was thinking of offering £40 per 20/30 min scene. Considering I could buy similar non exclusive for probably less and there's no guarantee they'll only sell it once. Thought £40 might seem worth it to them, and I'm sure I could make more than that from it myself.

Anyhoo, need to see a sample before I give them an offer.

if you want to make sure its exclusive you could allways get them to show a fan sign for your site befor ethe vid as part of your custom request then cut it out when you put it on the site, means theres alot less chance of them thinking to cut the start out and resell it at least
