Hi All,
Deciding which CC processer to use for a new site. Bearing in mind its new there are only going to be a few transactions going through so not going to get any low rates.
I know CCBill starts at 16%
epoch 15%
Who else is worth concidering bearing in mind set up costs, resvere they withhold and of quality and ease of use for both me and customers.
Cheers,
Paul
zombaio - starts at 5% for card clearing and also has affiliate tracking system
If you look at anything other than ccBill as a start up - then your an idiot..
Forget the % - you get what you pay for.
Want affiliates? ccBill the only way to attract them these days..
Affiliate fraud protection? ccBill has the tools and protects you..
Get established and then look at cascade...........
Simples Really
Ccbill is the way to go add epoch/segpay as secondarys processors ( through ccbill admin )
If you need an affiliate tool script man hit me up ;)

IF you do plan to rely on affiliates to any extent - then yeah ccbill..
however, those sites that generate the majority of their own traffic
can still consider other lower rate options.. especially starting out imo
you are not tied to a processor for life & low rates are good for small business
we have side projects processing Zombaio, if they take off we may switch over..

Due to the low transcaction value an affiliate scheme will not innitially be worth it as we could only offer £1 per month per sign up which won't attact many affiliates. Once we launch our other 3 sites which are in the pipeline then maybe CCBill would be best.
All feedback welcome.
