A couple of people have asked about my health so rather than post in those threads here is the situation and story.

Back in early February I was diagnosed with cancer in my tongue which was advanced, I has ignored the signs because of the situation with Eva. In March I started insense chemo sessions and had 4, this was when I stopped working. The results astounded everyone.

Then the radiation treatment stated in July and finished in September. This was by far the worse. The radiation burned away the inside of my mouth. Resulting in not being able to eat, drink or talk.

It's been very tough and hopefully I will get a clear result from the CT scan planned for hext Wednesday 16th of December. Then it's down to getting my strength back and having a nice long holiday.

I know you live in the Czech Republic but I'll suggest it anyway, get yourself over to Kromeriz. It's incredibly nice there - a good place to rest; or at least it was when I used to go there.

My Mrs dad died 4 days ago from cancer he was only 62, we was on holliday at the time. But sounds like you are beating it Paul, so fingers crossed for the 16th!

I had the CT scan this morning and the results this afternoon from the committee of specialists. And I'm not sure whether to be relieved or not.

The tumor is gone from my tongue and that's good news. But there is a question mark over my lymph glands where they found traces of a growth. They are not sure if they are malignant or not and ordered me to take more tests. If malignant I face an operation to have them removed, if not then I'm in the clear I think.

The specialists all seem pleased yet unsure of a final decision, having them all speak Czech did not help.

Looks like a battle won in a long hard war.

Had the tests but not the results yet, been too ill to make it to the hospital. Was struck down with a bad cold over the New Year and it screwed me.

Eva is fine and running the business with little help from me, seems I'm dispensable. Business is doing well. :noway2:

At the moment he is feeling much better. He started work as you may notice on the boards but still not able to eat. Just a bit of clear soup.

Yesterday he tried to drive after a year and he was all right, just need couple more practice.
Probably the reason is that we do not have any program with the English football so he could drive to the pub to watch it.
If that gets hem going why not.:cheer::cheer::cheer:
