Hello I not a webmaster yet but I just started making content
Iv some questions about 2257,
-What documents constitute proper proof etc.
-Do I have to desplay this proof before each video etc.
-Are there any other legal things I should know about.

Ok two ids.... Im guessing that a blockbuster video card and a recent gas bill aint going to be enough for these bastards.

If you are going to be selling to the yanks then you will need to comply with 2257, whatever that might be.
If you are producing content to sell outside the US or just for your own sites then 2257 will have fuck all to do with you. Actually even if you were selling to yanks but then they wouldn't buy without it all in place.

All you need to do is cover yourself so you need to know the model(s) are at least 18 years of age so a passport and or driving licence will be good and also get a pic of them with their ID. Then of course as JT said you will need a release form stating what rights if any the model(s) will have.

So you produce the content and pay them a fee which entitles you to do whetever you like with the pics blah blah blah

When I said "passsport and or driving liceence" I didn't mean the ones you get with those kids spy kits from Argos :catfight:

My Mrs got asked for i.d in waitrose on thursday when she went to buy wine. she was pleased as punch as shes about 300 years old :noway2:

I used to get that when I was first living in America...

I was SO Pleased that everyone thought I was under 18, when I was in-fact just turned thirty!

Then someone explained... It was if you looked under 35...

She probably got asked because they do half price on Thursdays for OAPS, they wanted to see her pension book.
