wtf!!! Do you notice a big difference in sky HD because I couldnt really justify the price when I watched it on the ex bro in law's TV... i thought it looked a bit blurry.

14 inch portables probably don't do it justice

Nice try, i knew someone would say something like that. FYI it was a 50 inch HD plasma. It still looked shit!

From what I have read on forums... (Not from personal experience) is that large plasmas are better for SD channels, and have a softer HD picture...

Where as LCD screens have a slightly softer SD pic, but are much sharper on the HD...

I'm specifically discussing the signal via HDMI from a SKY HD Box... Not a bluray player...

Plus, theres also a lot to be said for the make of TV... Not all screens are created equal... Thats something I can speak of from experience :)

I have it on both a plasma and lcd TV's one is panasonic and one is LC Looks the fucking nuts on both.

Ive got loads of mates who have big HD ready TV's and dont have HD, makes no sense to me. Whats the point in spending all that money on a TV (which is devaluing at a rapid rate) and not have HD tv. Especially when the pitctue on a HD TV is much worse than a non HD TV if you dont have the HDMI cabel and HD feed.

Things like football look fucking shit on a HD TV without a HD feed

I pay £72, btw you can get your sky package, well some of it like the sport and some movies etc on any single computer you want. Well worth it, having your sky package on your laptop or desk top.

Its the nuts tbh :cheer:
