You sent me ICQ messages accusing me of somehow insulting someone in your family who is mentally handicapped because I called JT a spacker.

I tried to explain that on the internet, when you QUOTE someone, you are talking to the person you quoted. You didn't seem to understand this and said I was being rude about your Father or something.

I was GENIUNELY at a loss what to do. Here I am, being my usual sarcastic self, taking the piss out of JT and you got REALLY upset because you confused me taking the piss out of JT with me taking the piss out of your handicapped relative.

In the end I apologised for the misunderstanding you had and that was that.

I am sorry your relative has some kind of mental health issue. But you really do need to learn that

a) When one quotes someone on the internet, one is talking to the person quoted and NOT YOU

b) This is the internet, and even if I was mocking your mentally ill relative, it is not worth you, 2 weeks after it happened, coming on here and posting something that is meant to, in some really sad way, attack me.

If you still think I am in some way attacking you, then there is nothing I can do about that. But if you want a fight try something better than the fact that xcite got confused about my employment history 3 years ago. Really. That is just tired.

Also, do I have your permission to post the entire ICQ thread so everyone else can see how you have seemingly lost the plot?

On a forum if you quote someone and then reply, you are talking to the person you quoted, not the OP. So in the thread you are taking such massive issue with, I quoted JT and called him a spacker or something.

Many people have used that word on this forum and others. None of them were mocking you for having a mentally ill relative. I promise.
