Gonna kick off there or what?
Iranian PM wants to wipe Israel of the map and doesnt believe they have the right to live as well as not believing the holocaust happened. Now he's maybe gonna be developing nukes as well as nuclear power.
Looks like even the Russians are not impressed

guess it's time to buy Raytheon (http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=RTN), Boeing (http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=BA), and Lockheed Martin (http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=LMT)...interesting 2 year graphs on all those defense contractors when plotted against the invasion of Iraq and the aftermath.

Iran won't get nuclear weapons. The Israelis will see to that.
funnily, i predicted the Iran strike in 2001.
why is it needed? simple, to cut off China from the Persian Gulf and the oil there. they have a nice block in the making, Israelis from the Mediterranean Sea on, Iraq in US hand, Afghanistan in US hand, Pakistan kissing US arse, the only gap is Iran. close it and China has a massive problem to get oil. sure they can buy it, it needs to get to them though, and with the pipelines running through US controlled land...
as far as Iran's wish to wipe Israel off the map is concerned, he doesn't say that, in contrary, i find his view on it interesting in its own way. why should Palestine be the place? it's europeans having done the crimes, why did Europe shove the Jews to Palestine? wouldn't it be more than fair if those responsible for the crimes gave the land? both Germany and Austria, as well as Italy, who were in bed with Hitler until they fell over as always when they were on someone's side, they had a very similar fascist regime.
wouldn't that have kept a lot of peace in the Middle East to begin with?
not saying it's the idea lsolution for all sides, but most likely would have caused less blood being shed?

The jews had no where to go after the war, their homes were occupied by locals who needed places to live, their money and personal effects were looted or sent back to Germany.
Besides if you were jew that was say forcefully removed from Paris and nearly all your friends, family and local community were gased would you really want to go back and live in there?
Not a hope in hell your so called german friends who just a few years before hand were abusing you in the street, killing women and children and basically treating Jews like they were rats.
At the end of the war there many homeless jews and no one really wanted them, everyones ecconomany was shoot to high even, govenments were struggling to feed their own nationals. Look at the problems people faced after the war in the Baltics trying to find places to live in safety.
HF go to a Anne Franks House, Auschwitz & Treblinka to name but three, maybe you will begin to undertstand why going back was not an option for Jewish community see first hand how these people suffered, as race they have been singled out and harrased their entire history.
Why would they want to go back to Germany? - It's a sad sad period in mankinds history one that should never be repeated.
As for the middle east its a mess, the Muslims won't be happy till they have it all, then they will want the whole of Eastern Europe. Once they have this they won't be happy till they have central Europe....it's never gonna end two idealisms which have nothing in comman its like trying to mix oil and water.

You really can not begin to understand the sheer scale of what happened until you see it.
Although the jews suffered bad they were not the only groups to be sent on mass to the death camps. What makes me sick is the way people were pushed into the shower blocks and the children and babies just thrown in on top.
The Imperial War Museum did an special feature some years back, they displayed some items I had not seen before and quite frankly do not want to see again.

No, but Ive done the concentration camps, the old gestapo and SS building, which is now a museum of terror behind the remains of the Berlin wall. Plus Im really into world war two stuff. Reading a great book at the moment called "The House Museum" which is all about the people they had in the Gestapo head quarters. Which were incidently mainly other Germans.

I like the old eastern block too, I want to see the museum where they have put all the old staues and stuff of Lennon / Starling. Since living with a missus I don't to do so many things like that.
Off to Romania in about 4 months sure they will have some great sites.

Yes. Very bizare. The have just put a car park straight over the top. Where the entrance use to be, there was a Ford Mondeo parked.

I say why allow the displacemment of one people over another when for eg our own country at the same time was disbanding its rights to countries such as India and the rest of the commonwealth.
I agree that what happened to the jews wasnt right but their actions also are not right, they are backed up by the west and personally it isnt right same as northern ireland that also needs to be taken into the republic of ireland.

What are you talking about? There was no "invasion," the British are the ones who owned Palestine after defeating the Ottoman Empire in World War I, and the British are the ones who, in the Balfour Delcaration, promised to divide it and the surrounding area into a Jewish state and an Arab state. That had nothing to do with the bible, and a lot more to do with the Jews who happened to already live there...and this was 20+ years before World War II. After World War II, the U.N. then created Israel out of part of what the British owned, and a war broke out.
Explain to me how that has anything to do with what the Bible says. Sorry to pick on what you said, but it drives me insane when I hear people refer to the conflict in the mideast as having *ANYTHING* to do with religion. The only way religion applies here, is that on both sides it's used to make people kill each other. It is not at the heart of the conflict, rather, money is...much like it's at the heart of all war.
If there were no oil, and the middle east were merely a desert, then no one would give a shit. Has it occurred to you neither the Americans nor the British want to loose control over the world's oil prices, and *THAT* is why there's all this hooplah over this barren wasteland? That really, it has sooo little to do with religion, and so much more to do with money? Why do you think the "West" even cares?
It is *not* the same as Northern Ireland. It's not even close.
