Look out for webmaster access see if they head to the EU again at some point. They did a pretty good show all things considered. Like you never felt the cost or the timing of the event is worth while.
To be honest I thouhgt you went to the US shows Spanno - when the message alert for this came through I thought it was JT posting LOL
All of those elements were there, but there were also a lot of great people that I was very happy to meet.
I did go to shows mainly for a laugh but I did meet cool people and do some bussiness, now the costs just seem to high and I am foscussing on UK stuff. Were there many people out there interested in UK themed sites ?

what were they selling passes for?
I was told by a few it was the hotel bills that were taking the ~~~~
Maybe as Brits we get one booth and send one person over with all the promo :)

passes don't cost much it is the hotels.. when there are a lot of conventions in the hotels put the prices up, when I went it was like $300/450 night at the venetian I heard its way more now.. then theres the airfare and vegas is a rip off tourist trap and everyone ends up in cheetahs spending $500+ a night on lapdances and beer!

It's funny when I go to the shows and a women starts to take her clothes off people act like they have never seen a nude bird before and things go crazy.
I've always said they should put panel of webmasters/affiliates and then let the programme owners listen to issues faced and what would be a help.
At the moment its always the other way round and with there being more Programme owners then webmasters at events it effects the ballance.
Webmaster access was certainly better value then AOE - I dont care for the parties I just want places to network and meet people who I can trade with.

I guess they are catering for the part time webmasters. Especially in the US all seems to be college dudes, who have never seen a naked bird of the internet before. Maybe thats the best way to recruit them.
Ive been to a show before and seen a very big tgp owner, maybe not the biggest but one of the best in quality. A guy old enough to be bored with women by now. Qyuing up at a stand to get a porn stars autograph
