PC question

My PC (P4) is now a few years old, but still seems fast enough for me.

Anyway, from time to time it freezes on start-up. All is fine if I hold the on/off button for a few seconds to do a complete restart.

Any ideas?

It may be just that its getting old.

I will probably need a new pc by next year.

Its still doing ok.

Have you checked what you have running on the startup process that could be causing the freeze?

We had one in the office do that from new about a year ago and it turned out to be a motherboard problem.
