DR Who (this week)

Normally a fan of Dr Who, I have been disappointed with the new show.

Not just the new Dr Who, who is a bit wet, and that scrubber Billy (I wonder who she slept with to get the part), but also all the poor actors who are in it.

This show just seems to be for z celebrities to get there name on TV.

Plus its all gone pc.

Plus its 45 min an episode for the USA market. Its been made for the USA which annoys me most. No story, as it all has to be done within 1 or 2 shows. In the past you would have 6 episodes, each ending on 'how does the Dr get out of this' situation.

My dad says the Times says its the best thing on TV. In truth it probably is. If you ignore the American shows (such as csi and all the others), and movies. All you have left is reality shows. I guess DR Who is the only real TV show being made.

But that said as I have been disappointed with Dr Who I have not been watching it. And yes I am a geek, and can bore people about the show.

But I watched it this week. But I had to go out at 7.30 so missed the ending. Did anyone watch it, and could tell me how it ended.

They found out that all the games shows where being controlled by the Daleks and all the ships where massing for an invasion of earth. I only watch it as my daughter tapes it "honest"

i thought the big brother idea was quite funny when they got evicted they got zapped. i think I would watch big brother if they did that for real with some of the prats they have on there.

It's OK, I'm a Whovian too!

The old pepper pots returned at the end, half a million of them. The disintegrator beam was really a transmat. The station controller got transmatted and killed. The Doctor said he had no plan but was going to stop them. They said the invasion must start immediately, and ended up droning their catchphrase, all .5 million of them...
