Did anyone see that program about sit-coms on ch4 last night.

They did talk a lot of rubbish.

They said they now do reality shows as they get more viewers. That may be so, but you can repeat a good sit-com for years and sell the DVD's, plus sell it to other countries. Just look at farther Ted.

Then victory wood moaned about her dinner ladies. Dinner ladies did not do well as it was dull as dishwater.

Then they moaned that the uk ones are dead as the UK channels buy USA sit coms. Boo hoo. Shows such as Cheers are excellent. How about this for an idea, write a decent UK comedy.

Then some moaned about the young ones. Young ones was hysterical.

It just felt like it was a bunch of moaning ninnies who had no talent and was upset others do.

UK sit com is not dead. Its just that the writers still think its 1960.

Sorry but crap such as Dinner Ladies should never have been made. A lot of stuff on TV now is so bad, its untrue. Its just giving someone cash for garbage.

No wonder people to the net for entertainment.

What won? Friends or Faulty Towers?

Not sure. I turned over.

Its like all these lists, to me they are junk.

The best UK one ever to me is Cheers. I say this as they did loads and loads of shows, yet I can watch them now and still love them.

There qare very few shows that I can say that about.

Farther Ted is still great. And to me Steptoe and Son was great too.

But why are they still making tripe such as My Hero????

Little Britain isn't a sitcom, it's a scetch show

The Mighty Boosh is another really good recent british comedy.
