This is essentially just a simple Google Maps mash-up with a form allowing people to log anything that's wrong with their area. the info is then sent to the local council. Web 2.0 at its best.
Thats the offical blurb but i just think it's a great way to fuck the council off:P

the local TV here has a daily "sort my street" type segment

they film a street that needs work with a countdown of the days waiting

seems to get results by embarrassing the council into prioritising them

The car park of the Old Victoria Public House is now become a storage area for caravans, work vans and a pile of old stones, rubble and other building materials, the wasteland is being used to burn rubbish on, and this is causing an eyesore from the back of my property, I have recently tried to sell my home but every viewer has said they do not want to look out onto what looks like a gypsy campsite. I appreciate my home backs onto a pub and I do not have a problem with this, but this is not just a carpark anymore. Any help with this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have just complained to the respective London councils that their streets are not infact paved with gold but strewn with used takeaway cartons, used junkies needles, spent 9mm and shotgun cartridges and recently mugged foreign tourists without their cameras that they couldn't work anyway:noway2:
