Check plugins, Joe because you can make it even quicker -

I've been using it for a few months now. As well as the speed, I like the functionality it gives you with the tabbed browsing, and the different extensions available.
Well I found that even with cookies enabled I can't get in to one forum so far.... LOL.
I had to install Flash just now, so I suppose I'll have to dowload all the other stuff even though I have Real and MS player 10

I was the other way. YNOT was slow as hell to load for me. I changed to FireFox and there was no problem. :)
Still never bothered to try it, though I may give it a bash
I much prefer FF even if it's for less of a spyware problem, on top of that check out the plugins

Been using it for a long time now - still test everything in IE of course but won't use anything else for my day to day surfing and work stuff.
Used it for ages and would never use anything else now.
I love Firefox. Here's a fix that'll make it even faster (taken from http://fusion94.org/archives/2005/07/firefox_memory.html):
1)Type about:config into the location bar and press enter
2)Right click any line to bring up a sub-menu
3)Choose "new">"integer"
4)paste this into the dialogue that appears: browser.cache.memory.capacity
5)Next click Okay
6)Specify the amount in kb (about 60000 should do) in the next dialogue that appears
7)Restart Firefox and happy surfing.
I don't use Firefox as my main browser still with IE, I'm like a dog with a bone i find it hard to let go once i get use to something lol. Without doubt Firefox is becoming a popular browser and now check all my sites using the firefox portable version from a USB memory stick
To my annoyance i find a lot of my tables need tweaking to bring them back in alignment when browsing in firefox plus find you need to download a lot of plugins so that your sites look acceptable when viewing from this medium, but guess its worth the effort since it could well overtake IE in the future ?

Now you're using Firefox and feeling brave, why not also ditch Outlook and use Mozilla Thunderbird instead for email? You'll be at lower risk from Internet worms and various other nasties that target holes in Microsoft products.

I could never go back to IE. I was a netcape person until i couldn't be anymore so I love having something that is essentially netscape to use again.

I love Firefox, but really don't like Thunderbird, tried it a couple of times and had to go back to Outlook.
Downloaded FF and TB. The install files are sitting on my desktop and I keep eyeing them suspiciously. You try it first Johny.

Like someone else said, I always use IE to test my work because most of the great unwashed use it. However, I certainly wouldn't use such an out of date browser for my day to day stuff.
FF all the way, install it now, get over the initial learning curve, check out the extensions (https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/?application=firefox) and forget all about IE until you need to test your work. Tabbed browsing alone is reason enough.

I use Opera for the speed and the tabbed browsing. For some reason I can't use my online banking with it though, so IE comes out for that and for checking work.
Yea i use it at home its very quick

TB is a bit of a nuisance, i found Revolver Mail (http://www.revolversoft.com/en/products/mail/index.php) to be an awesome Outlook replacement though.

Looks good, I might have to check that out.
it's very nice, i used the kids' PC as testing ground. Revolver lets you set accounts, so several folks can use it on the same box without being able to read one another's mails. next reinstall of our work boxes, they'll all run Revolver instead of Outlook, i think.
