I worked so hard on Xmas day that ... Just after uncovering the turkey for the last 10 mins.. I fell asleep for an hour and ended up with it being just a little dry plus the saucepan with my gravy stock has now been soaking since, to remove the burnt gunk... LOL.

I'm doing some work stuff today, but think I'll do half days until next year.

Thanks Rosie...

I started with the usual vinegar and salt solution then moved on to oven cleaner as that did sweet FA.... LOL. The oven cleaner actually got most of it off just now... But I will remember the coke idea for the next time. I've seen what it does to coins, but never thought of it getting gunk off pans :)

Thanks guys, but I'm not too upset ... the question is now whether to relinquish my membership here as Im now a surfer ... or to keep on making silly shop jobs ... mmm ... I think the latter !!

PS. can anyone give me any advice (personal or url's to) on going freelance/self employed as before I was an employee.

Working for yourself can be the best thing you could possibly do. This is the only business I know of where you can earn big money without any outlay at all.

The only thing you need to start is your computer, your knowledge that you already have and an accountant. If you need an accountant who knows the industry and is very reasonably priced, hit me up. Its worth speaking to an accountant from day one not day 365.
