Anyone ever made a conversion on Xmas Day ? This will be my fourth attempt but never been lucky enough to pop my cherry so to speak

10 is the most $300, not bad. That was just one sponsor as well, was a few years ago though ;)
Christmas Day and Boxing Day are two of our biggest days for sign-ups of the year.

The best way to get Christmas Day sign-ups? Don't post models in stupid fucking santa costumes. Surfers want a wank not a little friend dressed as santas little helper. They have had that crap all day and they are bored, lonely and just want to rub one out.
Christmas day is a good day for sales, infact all of December and January are my best months. Febuary never great though. thats always my worste month

Did quite well last year on the day - that was my first time though (not having been a webmaster for any of the previous Xmas's) - will be interesting to see how this year compares, with it being my second time. They say the second time is usually better, lol
Fuck me Geezer i don't do that good on a normal working day using about eight different sponsors lol, Yeah agree about the Christmas costume and decoration shit ! kept well clear of costume type galleries & Xmax trimmings on my sites etc. Had conversions on Boxing day & New Year but never Xmas Day

Just gone back over all the stats since 1996 and the sales all follow the same trend -
25/26th December very much average day's sales - Big increase from 27th - 30th -
31st slightly above average - 1st Jan - 3rd Jan slightly below average - 4th - 10th excellent - 11th onwards settles back to normal

Our sales doubled yesterday compared to our average for this month - madness! Bringeth it on!!
People either report a devastating decrease or a huge increase in sales. Seems like there's no good medium during this time of year.

I just got an email off the Hun to say my gallery is accepted - so it's a toss up whether it will appear tomorrow or not. Will be interesting to see how Hun traffic does over Christmas!
Meanwhile my favourite surfer is at it again - they seem to spend all day watching porn on VOD on Saturdays, so I get a nice little chunk from that. Hopefully they will keep it up throughout the festive weekend.
Sales and traffic are a little down at the moment - they must all be getting last minute presents...

My Hun gallery didn't make the Xmas day listing, but has popped up on the Boxing day one, and already made a couple of sales.
Nevertheless, yesterday was one of the biggest days of the year saleswise. Not the biggest, but pretty damn good!

My PAYC sites produced about $28.00 over the 24 hour period lol, still better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick i guess. Sales on the 25th matched the past 9 years to a "T" very average - 2day, for no reason, well up on past boxing days - Traffic is slightly above normal - Guess the se stuff is bringing more newbs with their fresh cc's and stiff dicks in hand and all ready to go!
The only xmas day sales I made were PPV movies on my Movie Dollars site.
Got to love the Christmas holidays and Boxing Day has been well up on past years so far. Fingers crossed it continues. :cheers2:

The whole net was down by almost 20% so how, in all honesty, can you increase sales with lower traffic? Or are you saying you have increased sales over last year's period, but sales are still down according to the traffic volumes?

Traffic is down by about 15% today but conversion ratios have been better than normal by more than that amount. In the 24 hour period today we will be above our average normal Monday new sign-up number. Anyone surfing porn on Boxing Day would have to be a pretty hardcore addict so I am not really surprised that conversions are up on those numbers.
Just past the 24-hour reporting period for CCBill Boxing Day stats here and I am happy to confirm that we were more than 10% up on a normal “average” Monday. I think that traffic being down over the Christmas Day / Boxing Day period is a red herring as the people that are missing are more than likely the average family guy surfers that I don’t really see as our “target customer” and wouldn’t convert anyway.
Christmas day was pretty average for me, nothing down (to much) and nothing up (to much)
Same as boxing day. I recon the next week should be good. Especially if you target UK customers. A long boring break now for most untill the 3rd and hopefully lots of new computers out there, whos first time at surfing the net and looking for porn.
Lets hope all the viruses and shit dont kill there computers before they even start

Yeah yesterday was a very good day for me ! even my PAYC sites did above average. Traffic is climbing back up and Google is back on form, I'll be more than happy if i get a few days like yesterday, Great start for the New Year
