I need some free virus software that has regular updates and stuff. Am I asking to much for free or should I spend some pennies?

That MS anti-spyware is the best thing they have done in years. My system has been clean since getting it.

For free AV programs mosey on over to download.com, they have a few on there to pick from plus you can read user reviews which often highlight any problems.

I recommend is AVG. You can download a free version of this which is excellent. Keep checking at least once a week for updates. See www.grisoft.com.

I have a pretty simple system that works quite well: I use a firewall computer which leads to a usrobotics black box - This leads to our computers which are guarded by both norton and another system. Works very well. But needs to!

I use a cheap Ethernet Router, which if you use broadband I would sugest you get.

AVG is great.

Also keep a check on microsoft updates.

I put the info on this page: http://www.dvtimes.com/he.htm

Go on, all the smug apple mac users will now say how safe they are for using non pc's.
