Its not just as simple as buying a HD cam, you will need bigger better lighting, some sort of stabalizer for the cam (trust me unless you have a hand like a surgeon in full HD any shake shows up) and you will need a machine capable of editing the footage as well as lots of external capacity then you will need to know the best settings for it all and hopefully at the end you may have a decent product. HD is not easy to get right!!

yes i will need lights. not sure if i will if i shoot outside in the daylight.

if my pc cannot edit it, then i will simply keepthe tapes till i get a new pc.

Spot on..

If you are shooting only for the web then you don't need to output to HD. for all the reasons above and more

But it would be a good idea to start shooting everything in HD for future use. but edit and output to DV. You will get a better end result which is more than good enough for T'internet.

But porn on HD ??? The jury is still out.. even after 5 years. Have a good look at so-called HD porn sites.. What you usually get is some over photoshopped overlit washed out HD images, but the video is usually very badly lit. Some do it well. MOST do not.

99.9% of models you would not want to see on HD.. and 99.8% of them are yours. :P
